The Titan Leak Proof: the UK’s First Fully Watertight Moving Floor Trailer

Brand new for 2026, the THDLP Leakproof Moving Floor Trailer is the UK’s first fully leakproof moving floor trailer, redesigned from the ground up for the food and wet waste market. Plenty of trailers are sold as leak proof. This one is built to prove it: a completely sealed, watertight body that keeps liquid where it belongs, with the strength and reliability you expect from a Titan. As the rules on food waste collection tighten across the country, it gives waste operators a trailer that is ready for the job and ready for the regulations.

Claiming leakproof is not the same as being watertight

Ask any operator who moves wet or food waste and you will hear the same frustrations: liquid seeping from the seams, soaked depot floors, lingering odours, and the nagging question of whether a load is genuinely compliant. Many trailers carry the leakproof label, yet still let liquid escape in everyday use.

The Titan Leakproof is different by design. The body is fully welded and sealed, with no gaps for liquid to find, so what goes in stays in until you choose to unload it. It is a genuinely watertight trailer, not a tipper with a label. For waste firms handling food waste and other wet loads, that is the difference between a clean, compliant run and a daily mess.

Built for the food waste market

The THDLP has been redesigned from the ground up for one job: moving food and wet waste cleanly and efficiently. It comes in at 9,200kg without giving up the strength and durability Titan trailers are known for, so you get a robust trailer that still leaves room for a productive payload.

As with every Titan trailer, your requirements are built in from the design stage. That means you can specify the trailer around your operation, your sites and your loads, rather than forcing your operation to fit the trailer. It is made in Great Britain, built to last and supported close to home.

Why now: the new food waste rules

The timing is no accident. Under the Simpler Recycling regulations, businesses with 10 or more employees have had to separate their food waste, including tea bags and banana peels, since 2025. Weekly food waste collections for households across England are now being rolled out through 2026, and smaller businesses follow in 2027.

In practice that means far more food and wet waste moving around the country, and far more scrutiny on how it is carried. Collection contractors and local authorities are adjusting their fleets to keep up, and the trailers doing the work need to be genuinely sealed, not just marketed that way. The Titan Leakproof is built for exactly this moment.

See the Titan Leakproof in person

The new trailer is making its debut on the show circuit this year. You can see it first at the Road Transport Expo from 30 June to 2 July 2026, and again at the RWM Show at the NEC Birmingham on 16 and 17 September 2026. Both are a chance to get up close to a genuinely watertight trailer and put your questions to the team that built it.

Ready when you are

The new food waste rules are not on the horizon, they are already here, and the operators getting ahead of them are the ones moving to sealed, watertight trailers now. The Titan Leakproof brings together compliance, performance and the peace of mind that comes from a trailer that does exactly what it says.
